Roku is a streaming media player. You may face Roku Wi-Fi issues while watching a show or movie suddenly it stops connecting or buffing for long time. That time you can reboot your Roku but it will resolve the problem temporarily, but it is not a good solution for your roku. ·        You can navigate up the menu and select the option like” Disable network pings”.

·        Now you would be able to connect to your Wi-Fi network.

Update Your Software:

·        If you need not to find “Disable network pings” on menu because there is no Roku box so you need a software update.

Connect to another network:

·        Connect your Roku to an alternative Wi-Fi network on your Smartphone or tablet’s cellular hotspot. Connect the Roku physically to your router using an Ethernet cable.

 Run a software update.

·        To connect press the following buttons in order to unlock the “Secret Screen”: (x5)    (x3)    (x2)

·        To select the “Update Software” option to wait for the Roku to finish installing and then reboot the roku.

 Disable network pings:

·        After finishing software update, you need to disable network pings.

·        Connect to your Wi-Fi network. 

·        Finally, the roku TV connection to be disabled network pings, you should be able to successfully connect to your Wi-Fi network without any issues.
